I have heard it said many times that using any kind of artifical assistance from a software program such as Arelis to increase your incoming links is a no-no for the SE's. Apparently, some bots can recognize and will actually penalize a site for showing a sudden increase in the number of links coming into a site where there were only a few before and sites that use a template link directory set-up. Is this true? Is it really safe to use a program such as this or should I resign myself to the fact that the links I collect are best left to the old fashioned, one-at-a-time gradually method?
