This is my very first post and I must say that I'm so glad I found this place. There's so much information that I don't know where to begin!

I came here looking for some information on Webposition but then I realised that I need to do some serious reading to understand more what I'm trying to achieve.

Hopefully, an old member that has seen it all here smile can give me some guidance on what path to follow to gain the knowledge I need. Any help is appreciated

Unfortunately, I don't have a great deal of time to read but I'll do my best to do all the reading thst is necessary to understand the things I don't know right now.

I'm from a technical background, Oracle, but never had anything to do with web develotment before.

I started a new business thinking that a web page would be the answer to all my problems. How naive can you get? smile The first test was buying some domains. I bought 4 of them and some webspace too. The first desition I made, which I'm already wondering of its value, was to have 3 of the domain pointing to my main domain. The intention behind that was that if you typed X, Y or Z you would end up looking at my website. Perhaps, it would be more uselful to create 3 subdirectories and point the 3 remaining domain to those subdirectories. that way there more pages on the SE, and more chances to be listed! This is an assuption that might be totally wrong!

The second test was to actually develop some web pages. I purchased Dreamweaver which was a good desition as I managed to create some pages with very little effort. They are not brilliant pages but they are OK for the time being. I'll come back to them when I get the time to learn a bit more on developing web pages.

The third test, by playing a bit with a demo version of Webposition I realised that my choice of keywords was totally wrong. So, I think there is some learning to be done there!

I think I can make use of Webposition, I need some time to learn to use it properly though but I think I can take advantage of it. However, I'm thinking about buying the PRO version, simply because there is not limit on the No of domains that you can mantain. Any views on that?

What is best, submitting indivual pages or simple the base addres (www.domain_name)?

By the way, I noticed a few re-sellers of Webposition so does anybody know where to get the best deal?

I look forward to reading your much appreciated replies.
