Hi
I have a blog ({edited})of one year old and am doing the SEO process in a right way.But the problem is till now i am not getting a good traffic but for another blog that i have created at the same time ({edited}) is getting a good traffic. Can anybody help me to get good traffic for the blog? am doing both on page and off page( dir submission, bokmarking, search engine, article,forum submission)optimisation.

Your both blogs are targed to two different topics so you shouldn't compare them with each other.
Follow this:
1. Update your blog as much as possible. The last entry in your first blog is posted on May 9, 2008. That's why it gets less traffic. It's a blog, so google expect frequent updates.
2. Get links from related blogs.

if keyword is competitive the it will take more time to get top ranking in serp.your blog keyword must be competitive thats why not getting ranking but if you optimize it properly like blog directory submission, comment posting to relevent blog so that you can get links and blog will get ranking soon.

I am agree with michelle. if keyword is competitive and blog has not good ranking in serp then you will not get more traffic for that blog. you can research on blog promotion strategies.
