I have a long standing Discussion forum for owner-builder home design and building at: [url removed. Please keep your URL within your profile]
The SE spiders used to visit and log the topics under discussion. That no longer seems to be the case. A search on a discussion topic will not bring up a link.
Is there something I should do to invite the spiders back or are they not visiting sites like this now?
Your thoughts appreciated.

You've got about 3800 pages indexed:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&c2coff=1&q=site%3Awww.countryplans.com
I would say that it's due to a lack of PR (higher-PR sites get crawled more frequently).

Thanks for that suggestion and the site: technique. (I had used site before but put a space after site: and before the www.cou... that only gave me sites that were linking to my full URL). Subtle difference that is news to me (perhaps only me).
I'm probably not as bad off as I thought. Some of the posts are within a few weeks of today, and "steep alternating tread stairs" (a past topic) came up first in a Google search.
I appreciate the help.
