I understand that Google only shows 5% or so of the actual links... But could anyone speculate to the reason that Market Leap would show this (for a new prospective client...)
Yahoo - 623
MSN - 3613
HotBot - 0
Google - 2 
This seems very strange to me.......

Google really doesn't want to give the game away as to what they know.

I agree - I tend to rely on third party software to track my inbound links. Experience then comes into play.
