Hello!
I need help. This may seem like a novice question, but I came across something today that I haven't seen before.
One of my clients uses Travelclick to manage their paid search campaign and besides getting what I think is unreliable data and reports - it looks like they are duplicating the entire website. Instead of a specific landing page, the ads go to a duplicated site with this at the end of the domain "1-px.trvlclick.com" - it's a redirect which I think is odd and on top of they have inserted tracking parameters in front of my Google Analytics code - I am unable to see the paid search traffic on the non-redirected site, but the GA code is on the duplicated site?
I am very confused and was wondering if anyone has had experience with Travelclick and knows what this is. Why do they have a duplicated version of the website and this code snippet:
var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ?"https://urlssl--.rtrk.com" : "http://urlwww--.rtrk.com" ;
document.write(unescape("%3Cscript src='" + gaJsHost +
in front of my Google code?
Any insights are greatly appreciated!
