I have created a beta version of a new spider based search engine called gnibo www.gnibo.com, that indexes textblocks instead of web pages. The idea is to index textblocks with interesting descriptive and informational content and to remove non-related keywords. A webpage can contain between zero and more than 10 textblocks. The results of search queries are presented as an "article" of textblocks matching the search query, which shows the information search for and the references from where the information was taken.

I am interested in your comments to further improve the service.

... and don't forget to submit your website for free.

Sorry, missed this before ...

What's it for?

Who might use it?

Thanks!

I like it. What everyone online is searching for is information and that is what you are giving them. What i would like to see and what no one has done yet is when you give them the relevant paragraph that their info is on, make that search engine link take them to the exact paragraph itself of what they are looking for instead of just taking them to the whole page. I think this would rock the search engine world and im surprised no one else has done it yet.
