Wow... it seems like everyone here loves Yahoo results... msn9 is a good australian engine too... though I would look for people who have good records posting and that would be the best... you could get someone who works independently in their spare time from a major company and get a good price for great work!

Within Australia we have some fine SEO/SEM marketing firms. They wear multi coloured hats some with pure white, some with pure black some that are with all the colours of the rainbow. The best thing to do is to learn as much as you can absorb yourself & then check methods that line up with your own business objectives / understanding / company ethics etc and ring clients ... check results & then last but not least, but definately last priority, is to check pricing.
Good /reputable companies can sometimes difficult to find as they may be too busy to take on new clients.

Well my company is presently developing an Austraian search engine, we already own just about the largest NZ based search engine Linknz and now we are at the beta stage where we are indexing the database to make it searchable before it is launched.
Linknz is already indexing Australian web sites and pasing the data over to the Linkoz search engine. The Linknz web spider is working almost 24/7 at the moment so you could suggest it there.
All the best

hi linknz - I think you should open up a new thread in the Non U.S. Search Engines to announce your new offering and beta. - this thread is about SEO not SE.
