I've been thinking about this long and hard and I'm still thinking about it.
Does forums to your site boost sales? Anynbody have experience in this department?
Thanks

Based on my own experience with our service and our forums, my answer is no, forums do not drive sales.
Having said that, it's only one person's experience. There may be others who've successfully leveraged the interactivity to drive sales.
We monetize the space via ad sales.
