As a merchant selling a subscription service that is offered as a trial, what is the best practice to charge the customer for the service after the initial free trial has ended.
Concerns:
1. verify the credit card is valid and make sure there is enough credit available
2. at the end of the free trial period charge the card accordingly
Are there some merchant accounts better equiped for this type of process?
Thanks,
Victor

i am a sales rep for a merchant account provider and i think i can answer some questions for you..it is gonna be very hard for you to get a merchant account in your line of business...MAPS(merchant account provider) dont like to get involved in a business where they offer free trials and other things because who is to say that your business is gonna be around for a year or longer....((self-promotion removed)).
