Can anyone recommend a hosting company for me please. It must be based in the U.S. and have been around for a few years.

Futurequest. I´ve used them for about 4 years. No downtime and though my annual price stays the same FQ are constantly adding new services to the package.

Sorry, I should have said, I went with Westhost in the end. I can't comment on their service - yet. Thanks to all for your replies.

Just out of interest Dorian - what swung it for you? Why did you choose one over the other? I used to automatically help my clients sign up with FQ but now I try to spread them about a bit and I can never make up my mind which other company to go for.
Budget is ALWAYS an issue with them but a good control panel and excellent customer service is always an issue for me so whose got the best cp & service at the cheapest possible annual rate?

Budget wasn't a primary concern of mine but then hosting is a relatively small cost for us. Uptime and customer care are my two main priorities.
What swung it? One of my other favourite SEO forums uses Westhost and I guessed they wouldn't use them if they were rubbish. So far I've been impressed.
