I run [url in profile] I dont know exactly what sging on, UK economy, more competition etc etc but sales are definatly down markedly on last year.
Is it something we have done? Prices are competitive, we run competitions onsite with free give aways, have a 6k email mailing list that sends an HTML newsletter once a month.
we get editorial in lads mags such as Boys Toys, ZOO, ICE etc.
We have a good and diverse range of products and what I think is a good site.
We have reciprocal links on site and use Google Addwords as well as Overture but still the sales are low.
Would appreciate any help of guidance as to how we can bolster up sales.

Can you give us a clear idea about your business and tell us what are your diversified products? If you explain it , I can help you.

Diverse is not always the best way to go when doing business on the web. I often find that shops that are incredably 'niche' do better.
Also, to boost conversions, when advertising, try to advertise on serach terms as specific as possible.
For example, customers that come to your store when searching for 'pc games' will have a lower conversion rate than customers coming to your store searching for 'buy warcraft III'.
