I am currently using goemerchant for my payment gateway. I am not happy with them because their customer and technical support are pure and it they do not provide 24/7 support.
I am looking for recommendations on other gateways that are good and have great customer support. The main thing is that I do not want to pay a transaction fee to my gateway provider. I rather pay a flat monthly fee like I do for goemerchant.

I always use the authorizenet gateway. They have great customer service and are one of the largest gateway providers. You should be happy with them.

i have used www.2checkout.com gateway.it has a good customer service and easy to use interface.

Not really, 2co is a more of a complete solution that take double the discount rate compared to a "real" payment gateway.

2checkout has the worst customer service on the planet. Check out their own forums for more information before trying that.
I've had alot of luck with Authorize.net, and many merchants accounts will give you this without paying a setup fee now, such as [link]

My online store uses www.BankCardCentral.com as our merchant provider and so far we have been with them for over 2 years they are very fast on support issues. I get to speak with a live tech within seconds. I would highly recommend them. I am getting to open another store and I will be using them for it as well. Good Luck
