    Hello,
Today I switched the Name Server for an existing site to the new host. In the past, the propagation took place over several hours, and was seamless - the site was always available, either through the old or new host. THe site is currently down, and the new host said to wait a few hours for the changes to propagate. This seems odd since it has never happened before.

I just went in and changed one name server back to the old host, and kept one at the new host. My thought was 1) at least the site will be available intermittingly 2) If/when the name server info propagates to the new host, the site should be available 100% of the time, at which point I can change the old name server to the new one.

Does this make sense? Does anyone have any experience in having 2 different host's name server info in the registrar's settings?

    Thanks!
    Greg
