Hi! I am totally new at site building and have to do one for a class. I am using Yahoo Site Builder. When I send the site to others, all of the graphics and the nav bar come up as X's. I am clueless. Can anyone help? Thanks

Can you place a link to the site in your profile so we can check it out? Does it work properly on yahoo?
What do you mean by "send the site to others"? Are you emailing them the html file only? If so, when they open it in a browser, images would only show up if you used an absolute path like "http://www.mysite.com/images/picture1.jpg". A relative path like "images/picture1.jpg" would not work because the browser doesn't know where to look for the images.
Furthermore, I believe yahoo/geocities blocks remote loading of images, so even with an an absolute path, the images would not load if they are hosted on yahoo.

If you mean you built the site on Yahoo using their builder and you send the page to other webhosts or to view locally the problem is all the graphics are stored on Yahoo's servers and you can't view them unless on Yahoo's server. View your page on Yahoo and in your browser FILE: SAVE PAGE AS, save as COMPLETE web page and all the junk from the site will be saved, including all their stupid javascript ads and stuff.
Then edit the page to point to the graphics to the new host... only way to do it, if I'm understanding you correctly.
You can get MOZILLA, a free open source browser, and use the COMPOSER utility to edit the html - you can also use a text editor but you'll never figure it out if you don't understand html, so use composer or something simular.
If editing using a text editor - change <img src="http://yahoo...graphicfile.jpg"> to <img src="graphicfile.jpg"> and store everything in the same folder and you'll fix it, eventually.
