Your request in itself seems a bit unethical to me, however, I'm the nosey type and would like to take a look.

Put the URL in your profile and let's see what we can find out.

Not sure I'd spec this actual request as unethical, but the fact that the situation exists raised my eyebrow. wink

It happens, though. Good luck Hamp. It's a tried and true path as others have managed what the OP wants before. If there's a legit reason to move other results down the page, it's not, IMO, an unethical practice to manage your own PR. wink

    How about unorthodox?

    That's probably a better word.

Anyway, PM me if you like I'll be happy to have a look.

No charge of course, just advice.

Identical thread appears on (at least) five forums, though two have already deleted it.

What worries me is the invitation to email - which means revealing your own.

If the OP stated a willingness to accept PMs or posted more detail here, I'd be willing to take a look. But not on the current terms.

That is exactly what I've been thinking Quad, I always Google email addresses with situations like these and found the same as you.

    Hi Hamp,

we have noticed as we went deeper into those reports, those were from our competitors who's trying to ruin us from our existing and future clients.

unethical or not, or what ever you may want to call it..i do need some help....i would really appreciate it. thanks!

Thanks for that. Now can we have some examples of searches bringing up the undesirable SERPs?

I have been away and taken a look at your problem and I'm even more uneasy about the situation now.

I managed to contact one of the complainers and he is adamant that the complaint is genuine.

With this in mind, I wish to modify my offer of help. The reason being, that the internet is pretty much an open forum and the ability to be able to let others know of experiences - good or bad - is a cornerstone of free speech and fundamental to an uncensored internet.

Sorry I can't help any further. I hope you understand.

That is pretty deep, it would be a really good idea to sort out your internal structure before trying to push others out the rankings.

Outstanding customer service = Amazing word of mouth beats any ranking you could ever wish for

This isn't a jab at yourself or your company, just my view on how to do well
