not really, no, its better now as an indicator of good navigation.

There's page rank, which is used by Google, and has some influence on Google's results (but, taken on its own, not a lot).
And there's VISIBLE page rank - the little green bar - which showed what Google was thinking about that one day between three and six months ago.
That really means very, very little.
