I have been following several categories, without editors and have applied to become an editor myself (denied). CERTAIN categories have not had editors, nor have they been updated in years. Here's my problem...The site in my profile is a casino/affilate site--I understand that dmoz does not accept this type of site--it says so, no problem. I wont submit it there.

HOWEVER, the currently listed sites in the Gambling/ and Slots etc. categories (almost) all have online casino affiliate links--I want these sites removed. My problem with dmoz is their 'selective enforcement' of the rules. I dont like the fact that they only apply these rules to some (my) sites and not to other sites.

Where/To whom can I provide the URLs of these offending sites for removal? (Obviously, they are probably sites of editors so that is never going to happen wink )--but I would still like to point this 'selective enforcement' or corruption, as stated above, out.

First, having affiliate links is not in and of itself a reason not to list a site. However the amount of affiliate links compared to the unique content can be. If there are sites that are primarily affiliate links and there is no unique content you can ask for the sites to be checked.

If you go to the dmoz public forums, you will find a forum named "Quality Control Feedback" in which you can list individual sites.

and you ask for help and abuse editors in the same breath. Thank you for letting me know how corrupt I am.
