it can I think, never attempted to make a website in flash mind (too difficult and not really SEO-able)

You may have to make all the parts (nav bar, header bit, content, blah-di-blah) and put them all together in dreamweaver or what not. smile

you should be able to add to the scripts, but I have no idea if a tracking script exists in the world of flash...

So there has to be a special tracker for flash?

It cant just be the same kind a regular site would use, because it would track the same way right?

maybe the flash file was created in Flash 8 (or whatever we;re upto) Flash MX was made in 2002/2003 I think, which might be why it won't open sad

If anyone is having a similar problem I was told that there is two reasons for the error

Either the file was saved from a newer version of flash
Ex. You are using flash mx 6.0 and the file was created in 8.0

Or the file is corrupt. if this is the problem try to get another copy of the file ( a back up copy or have it sent to you again)

the first of which is more common

belmson,

After reading your posts about this company that did the work for you (your brother), I suspect that you signed an agreement that said all of the code was property of the website designer. This is normal. If you would like the code, you would have to pay extra for that. For example, you purchase ACT to use in your Mortgage firm, but you don't get the code to modify it without their consent. I hope that you find what your looking for, but remember that the company that designed your site put a great deal of effort it, for you to just undercut their work. If you would like the option to make changes on the site, ask for it. If they don't offer it, you may have to pay extra to get the code from them.

I hope that I don't come off rude, but as a designer/coder, I hate when people don't want to pay for work. As I am sure you expect to be paid when you close a loan.

I am glad that you received all the files and code for your site. I am also glad to see that you are willing to put in the time to learn how to improve your site.

-Brandon
