I see that Google Adwords allow you to do CPM banner advertising across specific sites on its content network but without any bid checking tools (I know there aren't any for Adwords either but overture bid checker seems to give a very rough estimate albeit some what cheaper predictions than Google) for guessing what 1000 impressions will cost on any site. How are advertisers quoting to clients to run this service? It seems a great branding opportunity even if it doesn't generate the clicks it'll certainly get a name out there. We can quote customers the time in building the banners but how would we even estimate a quote for a media budget on this.
Any thoughts/advice very appreciated.
