My average this month was clipping along at roughly $6+ per day (Bill, stop laughing... ).
Yesterday I noticed a rather obvious drop to just over 2 bucks for the day. (Haven't seen a day this low in March yet.)
This seems to have coincided with the account moving through the $100 mark in revenue for March.
Coincidence and a blip in the average? Or something to watch? Perhaps G's click-fraud system auditing, with "verified" revenue to appear later?
...and visits & page views were spot on the average for this month so far. if anything, for yesterday, the average PV per visit was slightly higher than the running average for March.

Your average is way too low to draw any conclusions. If you want to rest assured, just check your traffic for the day. Was there a change in visitors/traffic? You've said there hasn't been so I wouldn't worry.
Yesterday was no different than any other day
You need to work on making more money per day

Normally Logan, I'd want to be defencive of what I am making per day - worked hard to get there.
BUT, after hearing from a clien the other day who's making $2200/month, I AM underwhelmed by my results.
The site sees roughly 8,000 visits a month and hits about 35,000 - 40,000 page views.
It has roughly 140 pages of actual content, too.
I was hoping to get a blog up and running this weekend to begin some product reviews on - adds related content, builds community, move page views, etc., etc., but everytime I look into the software to host on my server, it kills me - I am not a Systems Admin, so I'm totally lost on some of the setup needs of the software.
I'd like to host the blog myself, so I can manage all the optimization for organic listings, but I don't know if I NEED to host the blog to accomplish this and have pages get ranked.
Yet another new area I'm exploring...

hosting can be done by you or others and still provide the same results. can you find someone (host or via blog provider) to do your setup. This is often available for a few bucks and maybe worth it if you are getting too frustrated. Of course figuring it out on your own would be best though.
Regarding underwhelming, that is a lot for a little. To throw some light on it - the hard part is getting the traffic. You've got some. Based on your pageviews, you'd hope to get a bit more out of it. That's understandable, a lot of work with little return.
Can you improve your ad placements? Have you tried to rework your ad placement based on Google's optimization chart/heat map.
Basically, can you make more money off of your existing traffic. That you easily control by making changes. Earning more through blogging, seo, etc is good - don't get me wrong - but its tough route for the long haul if the traffic you are delivering isn't clicking on ads and generating enough revenue to justify it. My theory, never assume what you have now is the limitation ... test, test, test ... then test some more. You can always make more money with adsense than you are currently, and the only route isn't just more traffic but converting your visitors to click on ads, etc.

Thnaks Logan - as regards the hosting of blogs & installation, I actually purchased a Movable Type account last night - then got access to the install deets in detail, then sent the e-mail asking for a refund. The package was $70 USD (about $83 CDN from my pocket), they offered installation for another $99 USD. So, for about $200 CDN, I could be hosting my own blog.
...or I could edit code in my old Blogger account...though, as "cheap" as this sounds, I'm guessing this would be a case of "if it worked that easily, everyone would be doing it".
In the end the solution may simply come down to me learning, or paying. I just don't know...

Radical AdSense peaks and valleys are pretty common on some of the sites we host, and most can be traced to seasonal advertising trends in the U.S. Granted it sometimes make little sense to publishers but advertisers drift in and out of bids regularly.
For instatnce, we host one site that sees around 3,500 page-views/day in the winter and escalates to about 10,000/day in the spring/summer. The return can vary from $400/month to $1,600/month to the owners depending entirely upon the season and disposition of the advertisers.
Without a multi-year chart, I gave up on trying to estimate when or if the income would improve...Too many dynamic variables in the mix.
But it's not just traffic. Hope this makes you feel a little better about losing wages for no apparent reason. We've run AdSense and Yahoo! Publisher and even Chitika on sites and they're all about the same so far as inexplicable trends are concerned. Tough to explain to clients though.

Its end of the month as well as end of the quarter. Some advertisers budgets may be tapped out of cash until next month begins.
