And where can i get one from and for how much? Id look myself, kinda ironic that im The Research guru but im kinda busy with other stuff lol. if anyone could help me that would be GREAT! Search guru, I'd do some searches, only you can tell if a script will do what you want. In certain cases you might get a meaningful answer, for example if you asked for a good forum or blog type script, but for more specific stuff it generally takes quite a bit of research to find something that actually is worth using. Problem here is, if you don't know php or html, you won't have much to go on to decide if a script is well done.
One good sign with a script is quality coding standards, no spagetti code that is, but you need to have some programming background to figure that out in the first place. Something as specific as price comparison, that doesn't sound like something you can just download a script and have running.
"im not too smart on the ... HTML part of a site lol"
but you still figured out how to make a posting a fairly hard to look at blue color.

A price comparison script is likely to be just a very small part of a much larger CMS for a site; and anything more than "very basic" is likely going to cost serious money.
Where are you going to be getting the data from to use on your site? I assume you'll also need scripts to access the sites that you want to compare, and extract their data.

nope, when you read a lot of forums, the very LAST thing you want to see is colors, big/small font sizes etc, those convey one and only one message, just FYI: amateur, probably quite young. That's probably not the message you want to convey, at least that's my guess, and it's not a style that will get you good responses, for the above reason.
These requests for scripts almost always amuse me, but are sometimes worth looking into, one guy a while ago asked about a type of script, I researched it, since it was of more general interest, and ended up using it on a project, but only because it had very high programming standards, unlike most of them out there.
What you're asking for here is basically a free solution to a custom problem, it's not likely you'll find one, although you can always try searching for it, which hopefully you've done by now.
Another hint, if you say you don't have time to search for something, as a 'search guru', makes me scratch my head and wonder why you didn't search yourself for this. If you had searched, and had found something, and then had asked about it, it would have been a much more interesting posting, worth spending some time on.

Here is a good price comparison script.
((URL REMOVED))
Many webmasters use it for running price comparison websites.

I'm not sure if, like, RED is cooler than BLUE man, but like I understand you're, like, frustrated with these, like, uh, you know, uh, self-like-proclaimed, like people huh? Sorry, should a put a LOL in there I guess but what the Hell? There's nothing wrong with putting PHP, Java, HTML and Javascript in the same sentence, is there? Of course not. They are all the same. Red actually is Blue too. Like maybe.
This forum has been built upon kindness, assistance and logic...in that order. Your questions, demeanor and responses reflect none of those qualities. Do me a favor and get some small amout of humility to ask the many experts here ( not including me ) about an honest assesment of your difficulties and let them help you.
The wisest people you know are more than willing to admit their ignorance. Try again. It will be worth your while.

Hi, i just joined this forum to answer this post so i guess its a little hello as well.
I thought i might offer a little input, especially as we vend price comparison software ourselves. Price comparison is nothing that can be solved by just buying a script. Most of the price comparison sites around like shopping.com, kelkoo, pricegrabber etc probably cost hundreds of thousands of pounds in software etc and are part of multimillion pound businesses.
Even with software with the function of these kinds of sites you still need some serious amount of manpower to operate the software as well.
As someone above have shown the only price comparison code out there is little php scripts around which hardly offer anywhere near the basis of a reliable site let alone enterprise level price comparison. But to the inexperienced or person that wants to have a go the "oh well i will give it a try mentallity kicks in".
We currently vend software for full price comparison and review sites but even the cheapest install we do is 5000GBP which probably equates to a tenth of the cost of getting something similar up and running yourself if not more.
