You can use an easy way. Just copy all include file in the same folder where main file (php file that has include command) exist. It should work.

Excellent! ...but I tried that and it didn't work. sad

I thought I might be onto something by dropping a dedicated .htaccess file into the subdomain root and specifying the includes path in there - nope, again, nothing.

I hate the INTERNET!...*looks around* - where's the off switch?

I NEVER heard/saw such strange server sad

I think you should either contact your hosting support or ask someone else to look into it.

My offer is still valid. PM me for my email address, if interested.

I'm sure this is simply a result of something I don't understand Dinkar.

While I'm stubborn enough to want to figure this out on my own, I might just take you up on that offer Dink. wink

...and for the host - still with GoDaddy (hoping to switch this summer to another), so that is a dead end - base don experience with them in the past. They don't know their ears from an ethernet card over there... sad

It might be that they don't allow such a redirect to take place, and have disabled that functionality on your account.

Ok SportsGuy. Contact me over the PM. Just don't send access details yet. I will supply the contact details over the PM to log into my secure server where you can leave a temporary user name and password. I will take a look and may be - I can find a way to sort this out. smile

I am posting to this ... as I think I am having almost the exact same problem.
I have dedicated server through Godaddy ... running Plesk. I can not seem to get simple php include statement to work on my subdomain. I have tried every combination of paths I can think and nothing works.
I am hoping you found some solution to this and would share it now with me, or maybe someone else would know of something.
thanks,
Jesse
