[link] is up for sale. I have had the site since 2002. I am not a salesman and have had no luck at promoting the site. I have not spent money on trying to advertise the site. Since I created the site, I never charged for someone contacting me for support. It has been a free service. I have over 2500 pages on the site offering support. The site offers extensive information on issues with software and computers, How to use and how to service a computer. Below is just a short list of things offered on the site.
1. instructions on installing Windows operating system on Windows 95, 98, ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP
2. Troubleshooting guides on how to troubleshoot viruses, computer issues and other issues.
3. Known issues and either fix for the known issue or work around.
4. Definitions of terms
The concept of the site was designed for the end user in mind. I am a computer technician. When searching for issues, I would find numerous hits on issues and possible fixes. The sites would not include the fix on their website but a link to where they found it. Majority of time the links would be broken because the site that had the information either relocated the information or the site doesn't exist any more. I wanted a site that had the information all on the same site and not linked to outside websites. This way the end user will have the information they are looking for.
I am selling the website because I am in need of money and cannot afford the monthly fee for the website. Since this is not my means of financial support, I do not have the time involved in charging for support.
